Client Liaison Officer

Guide Dogs Queensland (GDQ) is seeking a well presented admin professional to join our Client Services team.

This full time role is responsible for providing prompt, professional and respectful administration services to GDQ’s clients, volunteers, staff, managers and all external organisations.

This role is responsible for using project management skills to ensure ad hoc projects are completed on time and to a high standard. This includes ensuring clients and staff are the primary focus and are provided with accurate information, within adequate set timeframes and provided with quality assistance.

Reporting to the Pathways Practice Leader, this position is responsible for:

  • The provision of friendly, accurate, and timely customer service to external clients and internal clients (Allied Health Team).
  • Operating as part of the administrative team to meet operational and strategic goals, and monitor other administration roles within the broader team as required.
  • Providing prompt and professional client intake and triage services in alignment with Client Services processes, generating referrals.
  • Following up clients after their initial call, advising them of all the services at GDQ.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date client records on the Client Database.

 About You

Our successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous work experience in a similar role, preferably in an Allied Health setting.
  • Excellent phone manner and Customer Service skills.
  • Previous work experience managing internal projects.
  • Excellent administration and computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Office skills.
